A good news story, this. Well done to the UNISON LG members for voting to take escalating strike action. It is heartening for those of us in other parts of the public sector to see the largest group taking the initiative in fighting Brown's enforced pay cuts. I hope and expect the action to widen and include other areas and other unions (UNITE and GMB in the health service are already moving in that direction, not to mention NUT and UCU, and CWU is gearing up for action again) if the governmen
