I walked out my front door, and noticed a purple-magenta haze against the tree in the front, and remembered to actually look when I returned. I find my spring magnolias about to bloom - a glorious feat because the tree is still just establishing itself (it's 4 years old), and this year it has so many more flower buds on it, and they're about to bloom along with the other magnolias in the area instead of after them.
